Transponder message

I keep getting a transponder message error but the xponder appears to be working. Any advise to what this is or how to fit?

My transponder quit providing altitude info and then just disappeared from ATC's screen yesterday, thankfully at the end of the flight. Taxied to the maintenance hangar, had the avionics mechanic look at it, couldn't make it fail, started working on the ground. Any ideas?

Thanks, mine may be a little different. ATC has not complained and the top window shows normal transponder function. Just a error message. I have reset the CB to the transponder and no change. The fault will be persistent the remainder of the flight.

That's weird...that message isn't even listed in the user's guide. There's Transponder Fail, and a XPNDR Warning Message, but no XPDR Error message listed.

There are a sub-set of transponder errors that for some reason aren't perfectly documented. Get in touch with our support team for further help with this one (contact info in signature).

....also, when you get this on message on the screen, you need to go to the setup menu's, go to transponder setup, scroll down to see what the actual error is.
