I'm planning the wiring on my 9A for both P and R servos. I see in the instructions that the DSAB wires should be a twisted pair. Does anyone know of a source for a cable that has twisted pairs or does one just twist?
Will Stein's pretwisted servo wire bundle http://www.steinair.com/images/store/servowire2.jpg work for the AP wire runs? It is not true twisted pair but instead is 2/20ga wires twisted together with 5/22ga wires. Will the power wires bundled and twisted with the DSAB wires cause a problem?
The twisted pair should handle the other power and disconnect in the same bundle. The reason for using twisted pair is for common mode rejection.
You can buy this http://www.aircraftspruce.com/catalog/elpages/shieldwire.php however I am not sure if this is STP or not. I can not imagine why it would be two parallel conductors shielded, but it would be worth checking.
