I am still in the building phase so I don't do updates often. So when I turn on my HDX I get warnings that databases are expired.

Now I could be mistaken, but I swear that in the past I updated the databases over WiFi. I didn't have to download anything from my computer onto a flashdrive and then plug that flashdrive into the HDX.

But now I can't find anywhere on how to do that! Maybe I never did it this way and thought that I did. So can I? Is there a way, right from the HDX screen, to update the software?

I looked in the manual and it all seems to point me to the downloads page of the Dynon website.

Thanks!

The only way to update firmware or databases, now and in the past, on any of the SkyView systems is via a USB stick. You can transfer flight plans over WiFi, but not updates or databases.
