Hello,

Does the 5 volt excitation line need to be hooked up to the resistive fuel senders, or do I just hook the sense line up to the sender output? I am converting from a GRT EIS 4000.

Thanks,

Pete

You just hook the sender in to the fuel sender input lines on the EMS. No other connections are needed.

Just to follow up on this.

I have a Europa with one tank and a resistive float/reed switch type sender. It has two wires coming out of the top. Do I connect these to pins 20 & 21 on the D37 or one to pin 20 and the other to a positive supply? If so then 5v or 12v?

Thanks

If the sender is resistive, you hook one wire to ground and one to pin 20. The fuel level is read as resistance from the pin to ground.
