Skyview Installation Guide Rev L:

a) Page 17-7 "Figure 92–SkyView D37 Connector Electrical Connections "
what are the "Contact Inputs" for - can you provide samples, best would be wiring samples

a1) What are the "Audio Outputs" for (for accustic alarms') - pls describe
can you provide wiring sample

a2) Should the Skyview display die (no second screen) - how could one still use EMS/engine information
in other words can important sensors inputs parallel to EMS also go to another simple display or an LED - how would one wire this - or you think not needed

b) Page 7-25 "Example Rotax 912 (carbureted) (SV-EMS-220)"

b1) there is 5 pins Black/GND - can you connect them all together?

b2)  pin 29 Optional External Alarm Light
how can this be used...as per a2) above? is it an input or output? how to wire, pls give an example

=> in general can you pls privide a Rotax 912 carburated wiring diagram sample - many thanks
or even
=> a complete sykview sample wiring diagram (one screen and Rotax) - many thanks ;)

a) Contact inputs on the D37 are not currently supported. They may be in a future release.

a1) See page 4-17 (Rev M, available on our site) for audio output electrical connection instructions

a2) Not easily possible, as many sensors' output would be affected by the dual connections. We would argue that it's not needed, though, unless you have a very exotic engine that can't be flown by ear in the event of a failure of a single display system.

b1) No, all of the ground pins on the EMS connector are equivalent. You can use any of them when you need them for various sensors. No need to tie them all together.

b2) see page 7-52 of Rev M

I am installing a Vertical Power VP-400 and have almost all wiring done on both my Skyview system and the VP-400.  However, in the Vertical Power installation manual (Page 44, section 6.17d) it talks about wiring the position outputs for the trim positions to the EFIS display.  These are 0 to +2.5 volt outputs.  I don't see where I can wire these to the Skyview PFD D37 except for the "contact inputs" unless I am missing something, and as I understand it, the contacts inputs are not functional as yet.  Can you give me any guidance on this?  Thanks!

Thanks! I had seen that previously but wasn't sure if there was a direct connection to the PFD from the VP-400 without having to go thru the EMS. However, based on your input I have wired them to the EMS. Haven't tested them yet but I assume it will work fine. Appreciate the response.
