In order to have the knob panels on the same “plane” as my GPS175 and AirGizmos mount, I designed a block to put my knob panels in. I think it turned out pretty good (pay no attention to the cheesy cover in the middle. I’ll replace that with a more refined panel until I install the autopilot).

TLDR; When using Cies Fuel Senders, use the GREEN sensor wire! I installed new Cies fuel senders in my 182 to work with a new installation of Skyview HDX. Reading the installation manuals (obviously, not close enough), I followed the prominent wiring diagram that came with the Cies senders...

Thanks for the reply. It sounds like it’ll be easier to let Skyview do its own dimming and I’ll control everything else (Garmin) with the MaxDim. I’m ok with that!

Auto or Panel mount? I’ve already got a MaxDim dimmer that will control my audio panel, radio and GPS. It wouldn’t be too hard to add the HDX screen to it…. just not sure if I should. Pros/cons of each? Thanks!
