Incorrect, if those features I mentioned are built in to the non-Dynon audio controller AND not supported via Dynon firmware then it IS most certainly a Dynon failure to fully support the audio panel. Those missing capabilities I mentioned are also stated as features of the new Dynon remote...

The 10 o’clock- 2 o’clock comm 1 vs comm 2 function doesn’t work, there is no Spatial Audio support in firmware for enabling/disabling Intelliaudio. Bluetooth will pair but no audio is pass across, no phone call for clearance or music stream. Audio replay is via switch only, no touch screen...

Dynon can’t release the IFR Navigator the same way they have released and supported the current remote audio panel announced at S&F with firmware support 17.6 just after Airventure. There are several bugs I have reported to support while being told to wait until 17.7. With a Dynon Navigator...

Basic functions of the remote audio panel do function. Ability to switch between two comms, monitor two comms, split comms work via screen control. Intercom works. Where the system fails, Bluetooth pairs with an iPhone but nothing is heard over pilot/co-pilot headset, no phone call and no bt...

After two weeks of troubleshooting problems related to adding the new remote audio panel and unable to get support to squash bugs or be transparent about what all audio panel features are missing in 17.6. I wrote the follow and sent it to the Dynon President Dear Mr. Thurow, I am writing...

I will have to repurpose a serial port going to my ELT for my new remote audio panel. Never understood why ADSB or Transponder or Gps2020 wasn’t on the Skyview Bus. Maybe bandwidth limits on SV? It does look like new IFR navigator may be Skyview Bus based. Look carefully at the announcement...

If we are real lucky, some gps175 units might be pulled from some Dynon panels once the Dynon navigator changes from vaporware to shipping.

I noted in the video that in the Nav Source box that it said ”SV” so I assume it’s view sky view network device.

Uggg, 2 more weeks huh. Guess I won’t be ripping up my audio panel at the last minute before leaving out for Oshkosh 🤣🤣 On a positive note I already have the second Dynon transceiver mounted and a pigtail wire harness made and ready to go to comm head. Haven’t started on Pma 450 wire harness...

Bought it and the second comm radio for my RV-9A last month. Keep being told that other bug fixes are holding up next firmware release and that audio part is done. At Sun n Fun, Dynon said this season which was Spring. Just 2 more weeks 🤣🤣🤣 so maybe by Oshkosh.r

I just bought a 760 to add a 2nd comm to my rv9 which has a X25 as comm 1. The pin out between the two the same according to diagrams. Main difference is the 760 is 12v only. Other physical difference is the 760 uses “ears” to mount while the x25 uses a separate mounting tray. Weight of the...

I can confirm that despite what very was limited in the description of the fixes in the 17.5 update that ALL Dynon SV devices need to be powered/online as each (comm, ap, servos etc) was pushed an update with the load of 17.5. Honestly I wish Dynon was more transparent with what an update such...

Not happy to hear that but in looking over the issues fixed it only had 2 listed which seemed rather slim considering it’s been 6 months since 17.4 came out. I was really hoping the dual comm feature was in this update also since it was announced at Sun&Fun. Sales mentioned 2-4 weeks at that...

No bashing seen in the current thread, however you do realize this is a Dynon sponsored/supported forum and at one time Dynon representatives were active on this page. Therefore it could be assumed (yeah, I know) that they still “lurk” here even now.

I’m getting to where I scroll by his comments 99% of the time. I do love my Dynon gear. Got my Instrument Rating last August behind Dynon glass. I now see flaws in some panel choices I made during the build process of my RV9. As an IT guy for 35+ years I certainly do not need lectured about...
