Respectfully, I disagree. All companies should learn from others and improve their products accordingly. Garmin learned a lot from Dynon (and improved some things), especially in the experimental environment. So, why can't Dynon get some inspiration from the competition as well?

I'm installing a G5 and a GPS175 with the Advanced Control Module. As there is no more serial ports available, Advanced told me I should connect the G5 RX/TX directly to the GPS175 TX/RX ports. My question is, do I need a GAD29 for that or can I simply wire directly?

Strange (but thanks anyway). Are they talking about the wifi or adsb connection? I'm currently flying (and seeing them connected to my Skyview network) with the Huvver (acting as backup "ish" AI), my phone (showing even traffic) and a device that I built to display EMS data via UDP.

Agree. As of now, G5 or AV30 are better options (maybe even the newest GRT Minis).
