    Exactly what I was searching for. I'll give it a try. I had zero issues connecting my IFD to my HDX wifi, but lost the IFD wifi visibility, and flight plans were all going to the HDX now.

    It is, I have a pic I saved frm somehwere, I believe it was a 210 with Dual HDX screens, a G5 on the left, and GFC controller in the radio stack. If you havent considered it, Aerocruze is a solid autopilot and approved for the 180, and partially integrates with HDX, Trio also approved.

    Dealt with the FAA much? I've given up trying to deal with them on simple field approvals that a few years back would have been easy.     It is, Im installing one now in a neighbors Mooney. I know of a few others already flying on social media outlets, and love it. It does what the dynon does minus VOR/ILS, whch to me isnt that big of a deal. I insalled one in a 172 last year and he couldn't be happier with its perfromance
