Yes. I did depart 23. I was under the impression that was only an extended centerline. So, unlike the sectional which displays my aircraft on the airport symbol, Dynon mapping will not indicate the same. I thought I reviewed my Dynon user manual in detail, I was wrong. Thanks for the clarification.

I have  Dynon Touch (2) units. Utilizing Dynon Maps /Terrain, always shows "my ship" icon offset from the airport. Utilizing Seattle Avionics sectional does not have this issue. What is causing this map shift with Dynon issued charts/terrain feature??

Thanks Ray. Since I have erroniously installed, based on misinformation, Dynon 15.3.4 update/release prior to Vans approved 15.3.4, will there be issues when I install Vans 15.3.4 release?

The actual present position of my aircraft does not match what is displayed on my NAV display. ie, Sitting on ground at my local airport, NAV display shows I am 1.5 miles NW of the airport. First time I have seen this the short time I have been using equipment. Any opinions? :-/

I updated my Skyview Touch units to version 15.3.4 through the Dynon Software Package prior to release of the Vans RV12 version 15.3.4 Pre-Sets. If that makes sense. I read in Vans RV12 update instructions that by doing this I may have created problems which will arise after installing Vans...

Thank you for that information. Interesting I dont see that anamoly/flaw in the ATC system when I fly at my commercial airline job. Your info just saved me money that would have been spent at the local avionics shop. Thanks again!

I have dual Dynon Skyview Touch systems in my 2015 RV12 SLSA. I keep getting erratic Traffic Alerts, which displayed, is my aircraft that is the target. How do I eliminate this anomaly, if that makes sense?

Thanks for information. The updates I was refering to are Nav Data updates. Firmware updates? Something I must familiarize myself with since I was unaware of additional updates other than Nav Data.

I recently purchased an RV12 with dual Skyview Touch units. The units are 3 revisions behind. Can I download/upload the most recent revision only, or do I need to go back and download/upload all prior revisions to get the units current? Thanks for helping out the newbee.
