Perhaps it’s been added to the current install guide, but ‘third display’ details were not in the install guide a couple years ago when I did my install - Dynon provided supplemental guidance upon request.

Dynon has not responded and I have not yet added the third display. I’m rather torn between keeping my ipad mini in that spot with ForeFlight and switching to the 3rd HDX. Let me know if they respond to you.

My original question was in search of the Dynon ‘document’ that spells out the ‘process’. I appreciate the responses that basically outlined what I remembered. Dynon has not responded so I thought I’d try to shortcut my inquiry!

Dynon has a document detailing the wiring of a third HDX display (network hub for ethernet etc) - I have misplaced the one they provided to me some time ago - anyone have this document?

Also using a Bendix trim servo. The malfunction warning appears whenever the servo does not achieve the desired positioning within 3 seconds. It will still work (keep working) until it achieves the proper position. There is one adjustment in the setup software that ‘maximizes’ the time...

I wonder if it was an ill-advised modification. I’d put it back to conform with the manual!

Curious as to what airframe - I have never had an alternator with a built-in regulator on any of my 520/550's.

My Dynon-supplied dongles work fine with HDX/ ForeFlight. Occasionally get the ‘disconnected’ message but it is still obviously connected and the message is brief. I do have USB extenders on the dongles.

I have the Garmin 375 (GPS/TXPDR) interfaced with my two 11" screens and a mounted iPad mini. Can't imagine anything better after 3 years!
