I finally found the problem to be in a splitter cable. Plugging directly into the SV the EMS worked fine. Thanks skysailor! I had checked the pins on the EMS cable but never thought to look at the other side of the Y.

Sorry, this is probably covered but I can't find it. I'm looking at installing an Autopilot Panel on a SV system. If I select Heading, Track, ALT etc on the AP panel, does this automatically select the same on Joystick #1 when in Map mode or must this be still be done manually?
