OK, I understand that, but what about the 2 year certification where it is adjusted to match the proper output. My other plane had an encoder with two adjustment screws, one for high altitude and one for low. Is there such an adjustment on this unit?
Thanks for the reference and the encouragement to read the manual. Unfortunately the reference you gave me was in the D10A installation manual, not the D10 manual for the instrument that I have. I was able to locate the correct procedure in the D10 Pilot User Guide in the trouble shooting...
When I set the barometric pressure, the field elevation is off by 80 feet. I waited about 10 minutes for it to settle out. Is there a way to correct this? I can live with the 80' difference, but if there is a way to adjust it, I would like to do it. This is on a D10
