Tachometer Drive: Cap or Removal?

What do folks do with the unused tachometer drive after installing the magneto-driven tach for the Dynon? Is there a cap that can be placed on it? Do you remove it completely and put in a plate or something to cover the hole (although that would be tough without removing the engine)?

We put a cap on that is avail from Aircraft Spruce or other retailers - however this was an IO360 Lyco not sure if avail for the Conti‘s
