TUNE NAV functionality not working

Looking for troubleshooting tips to get the TUNE NAV functionality working with the SkyView HDX and an Avidyne IFD 540. Not sure if this wasn't wired correctly by the installer, or if the configuration was not completed in both the HDX and the IFD. Recently watched this video on the Dynon channel and realized it is not functional on my setup.

Hints or pointers would be appreciated.

That video is on the COM radio, so it won't help you. In the info page on HDX, can you not select the desired nav signal source (ILS, VOR, etc.), and then see a "send to nav" button? I'm not speaking from experience, but from what I understand, "send to nav" doesn't appear until you select the source.

About 1/2 way into the video there is a section on the TUNE NAV function. My issue is that it doesn't appear at all in my setup. I am guessing there is a configuration issue or a wiring issue as the IFD does push routing info to my HDX and the AP works correctly. Also I do not have the ability to tune my IFD com radio from the HDX.

The IFD is sending info to the HDX but I don't believe the reverse is working, or has not been finished in the setup.

That wasn't really a section on the TUNE NAV function. It was just a mention that it existed, and that it would be covered elsewhere. It's not in any documentation that I can find, nor in a forum search. And unless someone here can shed more light on it, you may want to contact Dynon directly if you don't want to wait for that other video.

I have an SL-30 like radio connected to my Dynon as NAVCOM2, and both the TUNE COM and TUNE NAV buttons appear when appropriate and work in pushing the frequencies to the standby frequencies of NAVCOM2, so the mechanisms work in this configuration. I have a G-navigator in system too as NAVCOM1 but that doesn't allow external frequencies to be pushed per G limitations.
