I have my IPad linked through the WiFi to the Dynon. There are times when a target shows on the Dynon but not on the IPad. Is there a setting I am missing.

I have seen this happen. Can’t offer much more though. It never seems to drop nearby traffic though.

This happened to me too. I have rationalized the issue to the filters on the HDX vs. my iPad application. Don’t mean to hijack your thread, but my bigger concern is why the traffic altitudes showing on my iPad can be as much as 500’ different. I’m under the impression the HDX is feeding my iPad with the same data it’s receiving, so not able to understand how they can be different. Dynon pointed me to my EFB service, which in my case is Seattle Avionics - I’m using FlyQefb. Seattle Avionics talked in circles and never give me a rational answer. Do you see this issue too?

I have my Dynon linked to my Tablet and the tablet is running Ifly. I have never been able to get any ADSB targets to show up on my tablet. I have gone over and over with Dynon and Ifly. Dynon refuses to accept that it could be on their end. Ifly cannot understand why, because all of their programming is set to what Dynon has provided them to build their program to accept Dynon ADSB info. It appears that the ADSB heartbeats being sent from Dynon through the dongle is not working as it should. I hope you get an answer better than the one I have gotten.

My D1000 does work with my iFlyEFB app on my Android tablet but it is flakey. The iFlyEFB app never connects and shows targets the first time. Once I connect to the Dynon wifi network I have to shutdown iFlyEFB and start it up again. If I had to guess my guess would be that the problem is with the iFlyEFB application.

Ray,
I had problems connecting and dropping the Dynon WiFi connection on the IPad and discovered that the Dynon was trying to connect to my phone at times when I was using the IPad. I told the phone to “forget” the Dynon WiFi and the problem went away.
