My setup is a D100 EFIS & D120 EMS plus AP74 AP, in my RV-6 which has now completed 20 hrs of Flight Testing.

On my D100 I wished to mark the data logger record inflight using the procedures in the Pilots Operating Guide.

When I attempted this inflight, I got to the datalogging page but when I selected the down button the screen went absolutely berserk, shimmering and displaying several pages chaotically all over the screen. I pressed the Back button, but nothing happened, so I pulled the EFIS CB. On resetting the CB, the EFIS eventually settled down after displaying a msg that it had lost attitude reference.

Should I be able to mark the data log file inflight? I couldn't find anything in the Guide saying that it mustn't be marked inflight.

Thank You
Graham

Yes. you should. I assume the recording was set to on (it isn't by default) and you selected a record interval. Assuming that's true, I would contact Dynon support and ask them about this.
