The VP-X documentation discusses, in detail, the different voltage regulator requirements and interface. The VP-X planner even has a menu driven choices for Alternator/VR options.

I installed terminal strips. One for TX and one for RX. I have studs for ports 1 through 5, plus bus power and ground for the GPS-2020.

RV-8 with Ray Allen T3-12A roll and pitch trim servos wired to SV-AP-PANEL. Looks to me like the Trim Amp is optional. Anyone found it to be a real world "must-have", or no?
