Correct - the control head is needed.

We haven't verified compatibility at this point (but are looking into it). SkyView does stream "standard" ADS-B data over wifi, so it's a possibility. Also, another note is that multiple devices connected to SkyView may not necessarily be able to talk to each other over SkyView's wifi connection.

Sorry to not completely clear this up. The control head IS required to use our COM radio. There's no way to control volume remotely otherwise. I suppose one could remotely mount the head off of the instrument panel, as long as you have the ability to reach behind somewhere to adjust volume when...

Just to clarify - if you have two radios connected to SkyView, both will benefit from the connected database. IE, each radio's control panel can pull airports and frequencies. But only the primary radio is visible in the top bar, can be controlled from the COM radio page, and can be sent...

I'd clarify that to say that in some aircraft, acceptable performance can be had with just the ground calibration. But we'd expect that many (most? hard to say without having more robust fleet data) aircraft would benefit from also doing the in-flight cal.

There's been some positive movement here. This updated policy doesn't go into effect until the end of July, and we're looking into the full ramifications. But, it's looking good, and we'll have more to talk about soon...

The settings file from your D1000T was probably transported into your HDX, and those "buttons" from the D1000T probably came over that way. I think our support team (contact info in signature) may be able to help you resolve this with configuration file adjustments (or, if you're familiar with...

Frankly, it's to help us understand what might be going on if you call our support team with a calibration-oriented issue. There isn't a way to manually program the fuel calibration on the D180 (there is with SkyView).

Where is everything connected? Your Radios, GPSes, etc? Which unit is the DSAB master?
