    Please add default value to autopilot IAS

    Nice thing about the double press to load the default value: there would be no changes to any operation so those that don’t want to use the defaults wouldn’t be forced to use them.

    Audible Student alerts

    I think every flight instructor would like automatic alerts for students that tend towards uncoordinated flight. A simple “ You-hoo... rudder” would suffice but a “Where ya goin?” for heading would also be nice. :)

    Flap over speed alert enhancement for multiple Vfe

    I don’t know how common this is, but my aircraft has multiple Vfe depending on the amount of flap extension. It would be nice if the flap over speed warning had both degree of flap and V Eg 3-15 degrees; 120 KIAS > 15 degrees; 70 KIAS

    IAS rather than VS on inital AP button push

    Carl, I don’t know about ‘safer’, but my preferences for climb are to maintain Vx, Vy, or cruise climb rather than VS. The initial press of the AP (to engage) is just a pitch and roll HOLD. when you press the AP button the VS bug is just set to the current VS and the AP goes into VS pitch...

    let me think this through...  the GA button only functions if the AP is in the VNAV mode; and when you press GA the vertical mode it uses is the default value for the VS.  so if using the GA button I think VS is presumed, and a default IAS would not change the way the GA presently works.     AGL box

    I too would like an AGL box. I routinely use the AGL displayed on foreflight and it is very useful when taking photographs or sightseeing around sensitive areas

    The autopilot has default values for VS but not for IAS. Since climbs are often done at the same target IAS, having a default IAS would be very useful

    Local time on the display

    I agree that local and Zulu would be convenient. For local, manual selection of the appropriate time zone would be a good first step
