What do folks do with the unused tachometer drive after installing the magneto-driven tach for the Dynon? Is there a cap that can be placed on it? Do you remove it completely and put in a plate or something to cover the hole (although that would be tough without removing the engine)?
I just read the article below about Canada and their future requirement for 1090 MHz satellite based ADS-B. The US has a satellite and ground based system with most general aviation installations using 978 MHz which possibly won't be legal in Canada in a few years, at least that's what I gather...
Planning out some sparkly new avionics for my trusty stock 1965 Skylane. Does ADS-B traffic show on the Skyview moving map or do I need another device (iPad, navigator) to show it? If not, is this a feature Dynon has planned in the future? Thanks!
