    Replace Manifold Pressure Sensor?

Depends entirely on which one is wired into the EMS. Assuming here that you did not build the airplane... Pull the cowling and look, most likely on the firewall, for some transducers with lines running in one end and wires out the other - those will be your suspects. You'll find manifold...

    Antenna options for SV-ADSB-472

This is what I'm running for both ADSB and transponder (two separate antennae) - it's physically the same rod and ball assembly, just encased in RF-transparent epoxy. Much stronger and more aerodynamic. https://www.deltapopaviation.com/ads-b--uat--transponder-antenna

Cautions after updating single Skyview HDX from 17.4 to 17.5

Having all the Skyview components powered up and online is standard procedure for any software update. A simple database update requires access only to the main panel itself.

Buttons 7+8 do not respond on certain pushes

I did once, and had to send the unit back to Dynon for replacement buttons. They changed suppliers for the button internals at some point because of this problem.

Erratic oil temp and alternator behavior

The temp sensor is one of two designs - the first being a simple voltage feedback device and relies on ground to be constant to the airframe. Voltage flows to it, goes through a resistive device whose resistance is variable upon temperature, and then flows to ground. The indication on the panel...

Erratic oil temp and alternator behavior

No - a failing oil temp sensor cannot cause an alternator problem - but an alternator problem can 100% cause symptoms that look like a failing temp sensor. You likely have (not certain) a failing alternator regulator. You 100% certainly have a weak (electrically) ground strap connection between...

    Corrosion on pitot tube

That's definitely external corrosion, but it looks light and easily buffed out. Surprisingly, that level of corrosion is not going to affect the tubes operation internally at all. The pitot tube functions by ram air pressure, as long as the immediate throat area is open, the inner tube is...

    Intercom squelch.

Couple things - try a different headset, and see if there is an air vent somewhere that is blowing onto the microphone in the back. Also try adding a mic sock on the rear microphone if you don't already have one. They do make a difference.

    FlyQ and Slingshot

I'm curious why you are being charged, or for what, through SA with a lifetime sub? I have a lifetime sub as well and don't pay anything.

I did precisely that on my -10 wings. :p

Screw size for Pitot Tube to Pitot mount mast

Except that I live in west Texas with lots of flying insects, and occasionally pick up a bug in the pitot tube. You're not going to dislodge that without removing the tube from the wing and blowing compressed air backwards through it. 10 years and just over 2000 flight hours, I'll bet I've...

Screw size for Pitot Tube to Pitot mount mast

And after you've removed and reinstalled the pitot from the mast a few times, you will ultimately strip out one or more of those 6-32 screws - and you'll end up enlarging them to #8 screws. 2 out of 4 on my airplane (10 years and just over 2000 flight hours) now carry #8 screws. But...

    Skyview HDX ADS-B Partial

The ADSB No-Signal error, if it occurs in an area and at an altitude where you should have reception, can be caused by the receiver having a known fault where it cannot switch properly from the currently receiving station to the next station as you traverse across an area, at a time when there...

USB Drives in panel, no longer reading? The others in the back of the panel are reading.

Have you tried different USB's for the panel mount ports? Take one of the originals, give it a good format (NOT the fast format) and try again.

Any good pics of wiring the push to start and key switch?

Super easy, actually - key switch (if you want to use one) to activate ignition, push button connects to the starter solenoid.

Avidyne 540 & Skyview HDX charts

I'm running the 440 with my HDX, I buy just the NAV charts (from Jeppesen) for the 440 and it will fly the approaches just fine through the HDX. The obstacle data and charts I get from Seattle Avionics for display on the HDX - the larger screen size works to advantage there.
