Been there. Almost certainly you have some unplanned resistance or intermittence in the measurement circuit.

The manual suggests it’s a good idea to create ground loops. Is the SV transponder not quite connected to the ground pin? I installed mine without a separate tray ground because i tested case continuity to ground via the pin.

Mine did the exact same about a dozen times over the last 100 or so flight hours (maybe 9 months). I haven't seen it since just before OSH. I should tolerate a week or two of down time to get it fixed.

Traffic position is inherently wrong unless it's stationary. :D

Given the ADS-B traffic info has a timestamp and velocity vector, can SkyView please update the traffic's position accordingly? Presumably it's a 3D vector, but even 2D would be helpful. On the edges of reception, it might be 10-20 seconds between updates. ::) :o

Don't those inputs all have 5v pull-ups? You need to pull them down (to ground) not try to measure if they go above 5v.

Can someone recommend a simple transistor solution?

I was thinking a signal relay connecting the main bus (w/resistor) to an LED anode and cathode direct to SkyView dim output. But, that's kludgy. Is there an option to pwm the ems light output?

Hi. I'd like to add a cowl differential pressure (top vs bottom) sensor. Lycoming says I should have about 6" water difference. Would this sensor do the trick? And, if it's not too much to ask, an SFG file entry? Thx...

Autopilot -- stick nudge Ryanallen, No. What Garmin has is an option to automatically engage the autopilot if you totally lose it. Rather than an emergency-only device, I was thinking of something more potentially involved in casual maneuvering.

Re: autopilot -- stick nudge? (was shaker..) Sorry, I didn't mean just to shake the stick, but to nudge/pulse it forward to help avoid a stall, like some cars now do to keep your lane.

Was thinking about the EAA contest for reducing LOC accidents.. Wondering if Dynon's autopilot might be able to have a stick-shake mode when not over a runway and exceeding maybe 10 degrees AOA. Sure, there are 3rd-party add-on devices. But, it seems to me you can do this with the autopilot...

Since 14.0, I noticed what seemed like a lack of any filtering of the engine data, a couple parameters hanging around the yellow/red flashed back and forth so much, I imagine it would generate many messages.

Meh. I have no use for a 5% ribbon. Would MUCH rather invest programmer time in new features like HITS, airspeed callouts, airspace in SynViz, or new EIS widgets. (like a combined, revised EGT/CHT)
