    Datalogging

I have two screens so shouldn't have trouble flying with one on setup mode for a few minutes. The reason for doing this is just efficiency. I'm using the GPS method for airspeed calibration outlined by Doug Gray (http://contrails.free.fr/temp/TAS_FNL4.pdf) If I have the system data I can, real...

    Datalogging

Can one download the data logs in-flight? I am trying to do airspeed calibration using the serial data output and the GPS data but the only GPS ground speed is from the NMEA output so I can't get the rest of the data (ADAHRS, system, EMS) without using a second serial line. Thanks! ~Miguel

GTN650 Flight Plan not Displayed on Map

Hello, I just upgraded to SV10 and have been trying to get the GTN650 flight plan to show in the Skyview Screens via the ARINC429 module. It will load the data on the flight plan menu on the skyview and update as it gets updated on the GTN650. Unfortunately, even when I select "show flight plan"...

    Foreflight connection ?

Yes this would certainly be helpful!. Either publishing a format that would allow any tablet software to send flight plans or do an exclusive deal with one of the providers.

    Mach indicator?

That's actually a fantastic idea and could be billed by Dynon as a safety benefit...Vne is given by the manufacturer is KIAS at sea level.Skyview can certainly start knocking down the barber pole as the airplane ascends. This is definitely a conservative approach as the manufacturer certainly...

VFR Vertical Navigation - GPS Source?

Dynon Support, I see the point in that it's an extra hassle to put in altitudes in the flight plan page to enable VNAV climbs. The question then becomes, how can you have Skyview tell you when to start your descent? I suppose it knows where the flight plan ends and your current altitude so it...

VFR Vertical Navigation - GPS Source?

In response to the Dynon Support question of what we are looking for in a VNAV solution my idea is kind of the following: My guidance comes from the way the big iron guys do it. You input a cruising altitude into your flight plan. Once you take off and engage VNAV autopilot the aircraft will...

    NavWorx ADS-B In Compatibility

Sorry that I did not reply earlier but have not had a chance. First off, thanks to the moderator for replying. Second, I've been looking at NavWorx pretty closely as I have been intending to equip. They sell a product called ADS600 that has only receive capabilities that will give me the ADS-B...

    NavWorx ADS-B In Compatibility

A question for the moderator.... Is Dynon planning to support the NavWorx ADS-B In receivers (ADS-600) over the ARINC-429 connection? From researching on the internet I have found that it is currently supported over the RS-232 connection but that only allows for traffic. Through the ARINC-429...

    what's next

Yes, while it would be nice if it is also integrated to the VP-X as it will increase the usefulness & safety of the system, most Skyview customers do NOT have a VP-X thus stand-alone Skyview support is optimal. Also, all of the engine information in the Skyview/VP-X setup comes from the Dynon...

    what's next

Here is the top priority list from my perspective: 1) Audio alarms: I cannot emphasize just how crucial to safety this is. Especially with the angle-of-attack indicator. 2)Cross-filling of route information from external GPS: For those of us who fly the Skyview IFR it would be exceedingly...
