    Getting the HDX to Dim

I have same concern. Displays do not dim to a safe level for night flying. Otherwise, except for the autopilot roll being weak (and "roll slip") I love the Skyview system.

C172 Autopilot Slow Gentle Oscillations in Roll

The shear pin and rigging were just checked and both are okay. It was suggested a software patch may be required. A bit annoying.

C172 Autopilot Slow Gentle Oscillations in Roll

I will check but Dynon actually did the install and they did a great job. Same mechanic who did all the STC work with the Dynon engineers. One of their engineers has offered and wants to fly it but is hesitant until the Covid-19 issue settles down.

C172 Autopilot Slow Gentle Oscillations in Roll

WORK AROUND- USB Drive formatted using the Seattle Avionic ChartData Manager prevents Skyview from booting

Okay, did the exFAT formatting and reloaded everything. Still same problem. The Skyview will not boot up. Any other ideas?

WORK AROUND- USB Drive formatted using the Seattle Avionic ChartData Manager prevents Skyview from booting

I have been trying to get my new 32GB Sandisk USB drives to work with my Skyview in our 172 and having the same problem as above. The display hangs on boot up. Will try the exFSAT formatting. Thanks for the posts. Will report back if it solves the problem. It's nice to know it isn't just me.

C172 Autopilot Slow Gentle Oscillations in Roll

In smooth air and using heading or GPS nav modes (Avidyne or Skyview) the aircraft gently turns a few degrees back and forth, with a regular cycle time of about 15 seconds, continuously. All other modes work great but have this roll anomaly. Anyone else experience this or know how to stop it...
