Dynon, Just wondering if you can update us on the HDX panel availability, Any light at the end of the tunnel?

    What's a CHT Thermocouple's Failure Mode

Bonwit, Every time that my CHTs have done the exact same thing as yours and its happen numerous times, I've first verified the probe was good by doing what GKC stated. If it tested out good I use the OLC-2 type connects to replace the original crimp connectors and have never had another problem...

    D10A discontinued?

Hopefully it will be replaced with something new......SOON! :)

    D10A discontinued?

I know how it's assembled and you made my point! That flush mount doesn't make the D10 a front removal instrument which was all I was suggesting. $5 of scrap aluminum/hardware and you never need to get behind the panel or remove any unnecessary screws but the four on the small panel holding the...

    D10A discontinued?

I'm guessing you didn't look close at the mounting screws on the mount, if you are talking about the flush mount below. You're still required to get to the back of the D10 to remove it from the panel, The flush mount only makes the face of the D10 flush with the panel you still can't remove it...

    D10A discontinued?

Something else you should notice about the D10 is that it is attached to the panel by screws inserted in the back of the unit. Which means you need to take off your main panel to get to those screws to remove it, Go Figure!! I would recommend making a single panel just for the D10, use the D10...

    Autopilot Wallowing

I found that for my cub I had to reduce the default settings in order to keep it from hunting back-and-forth. It got worse as I increased them

    Software Update v16

I agree, seems to me that with all the additional menu items it would make sense to have an updated tuning manual.

    Bread Crumb/Snail Trail?

Dynon Support, Is there anymore thought by Dynon in adding a bread cumb/snail trail capabilities like in the Garmins units. It would be a great tool, especially for those of us flying the backcountry.

    Erratic RPM on Rotax 912ULS

a single resistor, in series. Trigger Coil (Rotax 912, except 912 iS) The Rotax 912 engines have a 5th trigger coil for the purposes of electrically monitoring rev counts. This trigger coil outputs to a two-wire harness. Connect either of the two wires to ground; connect the other white wire to...

    HDX anti-glare matte finish?

Those HDX pics actually look like they have a piece of smooth glass over the surface. I've never seen that kind of glare my Touch or my buddies HDX and they both have the same surface. I couldn't get that kind of glare if I set up flood light behind me. That is a strange one.

    Lean Of Peak -O-Meter

I'm going to try this again :) I have Cub with an ECI Titan 340, not injected. Its basically a 320 that has been stroked. I always try to fly 60-80 degrees ROP with this carbureted engine because I understand without injectors to control the fuel flow to all the cylinders you can't run LOP...

    Percentage of Power bug

I've tried changing the HP # but it doesn't do anything. I'm going to go thru all the connections, I may have a loose connection on something somewhere. Not a real big deal and It's really not something I use much, just wanted it to read correctly.

    Percentage of Power bug

Thx David, Yes, I have been digging :) I've done all required inputs on the engine setup menu (type, brand, hp, etc), calibrated fuel flow, OAT sensor is working but I still get the same low reading. Is there a way to actually change/adjust numbers somewhere in the menus to get it to read properly?

    Percentage of Power bug

I've got a single Skyview touch and a ECI Titan 340, 180hp in my cub. I can't figure out why and how to fix the percentage of power # indicator. Currently it reads very low, for instance, at 2350 rpms which is 65% power, it's reading only 40% power. Has anyone had this issue? Is there a way...

    Lean Of Peak -O-Meter

How does that procedure change for those of us who have carburetored, 4 cylinder Lycoming/Continental style engines? I've normally just lean until rough running and the richened until smooth and then slightly richer, probably around 70-90 degrees ROP.

    EGT spade connectors changed?

I have to agree with Kelly, CubCrafters has been keeping records of the failures and they were the ones suggesting the use of the EI connectors. By the way it's not just Dynon probes.
