    EGT wire extension

    Have 2 issues, Just one wire (brown) in EGT loom needs extending around 6". Can this be done reliably? Have trouble with single EGT probe working well then data jumps around, crazy values, have followed and checked FFwd connections with no success. Others probes are good

    Yes offset needed to be altered. Local seemed OK, ZULU changed. I did find it difficult to find right place to change it, cant be done in Timer screen but through setup and option wasnt available in flight...???

    Long time coming but I can say the updated software works well. 2 hrs flight on AP (both ALT and NAV) with no dropouts Update went OK, all settings saved no problem One problem with clocks though, needed Zulu and Local time reset which surprisingly took a while to work out.

    Any progress on this? There are still customers flying with AP system which dont work correctly - having to reset source every 5 min I see Garmin units are still listed as compatable with your AP system too

    Regulated altitude

    I have similar problem, Alt is 50 ft high of set point. Mine is Jabiru, also with spring trim Trim indicator seems contradictory, regularly asking for up trim when AC is above set point and climbing, similar for down trim indication. Mostly in mild turbulence, in still conditions all seems good...

    If the D180 + AP doesnt work in NAV mode from NMEA, (which it doesnt) it should be indicated to new customers on the website at the least and those who have invested in the equipment have it replaced with equipment which works. Your efforts are noted but 2 years + is too slow

    This problem has been there and complained about for 2 YEARS now yet still Dynon claim their AP system is Garmin compatible. At this stage my AP cannot be used in NAV mode so whats the solution - send the equipment back and buy something else that actually delivers on promise?

    D180 + Garmin 296 I had lost NAVSRC problem since AP roll servo installed ~100hrs ago, not very often maybe once every hour or so of flight Recently added pitch servo and upgraded to 5.4 and problem is now much more of a problem.     NAVSRC LOST

    Re back up battery, I had a similar problem, it turns out the plug connecting it to D180 wasnt making good contact. It would appear to be charged in flight then instantly go to zero volts when D180 main power turned off. I slightly bent pins in plug and has been perfect since.
