    Re: erratic display, warning messages and now dead thanks! I have checked the supply - everything OK all the way to both pin 1 (switched) and pin 2 (direct). Reading 11.9V Taken out backup battery - 13.01 V Switched everything on again and still dead ... Back in the workshop - connected bench...
