These servos aren’t like the model aircraft version (but larger) they have no centre on the servo arm throws ! So until you calibrate them in the set up they will not move.

Install the servo with the limit stop and check your control throws don’t hit the stops. The servo won’t move even when powered up so no chance of any damage. The most important thing is max control throws hitting the stops which they must NOT. No need to temporary wire Mark
