2 level sensors in one tank

Hi,

Is there any solution for a relative nasty tank shape, where I need to install two separate capacitive tank sensors (because of length of the tank) into the same tank. Basically the "lower" sensor is measuring the emptier half of the capacity and "upper" sensor is measuring the fuller part of the capacity.
Could I somehow combine these in a single gauge and even calibrate it?

Just measure the lower half only. You do not need to know the top half. Even if you think that you do, you really do not. Trust me ;-)

You will have a tenable and very accurate fuel totaliser which is what you actually use. The top half of the tank is irrelevant, it is the bottom half that you actually care about. In flight you compare that roughly to what the totaliser says, just to confirm you have what you think you have, and you haven't sprung a leak.

Lastly yes of course you can do it, its just a scaled input.....but I would not do it at all.

I will look in my files for an explanation of how to make adjustments for the bonanza tank buoys.⁸
