2020 traffic

I installed 2020 gps and my aircraft is showing up as traffic. Am getting traffic warning and an orange line in my direction of travel with 00 as the altitude. Is this normal? Also shows other taffic with their N# on screen.

Double check your tail number settings are identical across the transponder and other setting screens. IIRC, SkyView automatically ignores your own target when it is rebroadcast, but if your screen is set to tail number 12345 and your transponder and/or hex code broadcasts N12345, then you'll show up as traffic to yourself.

Thanks, I'll check that out. Thought I was about to get into a dog fight with someone. My Carbon Cub EX would have lost.

KRviator, I didn't find a problem with the number, but thanks to your suggestion while I was checking I saw where my transponder needed upgrading. I did this and hopefully this will solve the problem. Bad weather next few days here. Will check it out ASAP.

If you didn't update your transponder than this is expected, so you're on a good path there.
