Were you able to successfully update the D180, D100, and HS34 independently? Each of those devices does need 5.4 loaded to it. The AP74 and servos are the only devices that get updated, via the DSAB master, as long as they're powered on, DSAB'd, and connected to an EFIS being upgraded.
