Rumors are flying on the RV forums that Dynon will start taking orders for the new 7 inch display July 18 with deliveries shortly thereafter. I can't find anything on Dynons website. Well guys, is the cat out of the bag? If so what are the dimensions so I can start laying out the panel?

I saw the 7" model on display the Arlington Airshow and they were taking orders. If memory serves the 7" version is exactly the same as the smaller version as far as functionality goes. Pete

We are not taking orders for the 7" Display until July 18th.

We are taking orders for all of our other active products.

The 7" functionality is the same as the 4" display for now, but we expect to increase this via software updates in the future.

Do you have any plans to take the EMS to a seven inch display? If so , do you have a time frame?

Thank you

We do plan on putting the EMS into a 7" display format. We hope to have the D100 version of the EMS out by the end of the year, but no promises at this point.

Hi guys..Well I'm "Number 15" on the D100 list and very excited as I'm about to start cutting my panel...Then I read that you guys will be "releasing a panel" that will allow the EMS data to be displayed....Wait a minute, the guy at the Dynon stand at Arlington told me this would be a software upgrade that would support this functionality.

Does this mean my D100 won't be upgradable to display engine data in the future??... :'(

Frank,
We are calling the various things you can display on the D100 screen "data panels." You will be able to put up a checklist panel, an EMS panel, DG panel, or other data on one side of the screen while the EFIS is still visible on the other side of the screen. The checklist panel will be there when we first ship the D100, the EMS and other panels will show up in future software releases.

Don't worry. The D100 you have on order will eventually support connecting to an EMS. Sorry for the confusion.
