I'm currently installing Skyview HDX in my Bonanza, and upon the first power up it appears that HDX and D10A disagree by ~35 feet. Not sure which one is more accurate as all I have is a photo from my shop so far. I've seen that on other photos and videos, and I wonder how much difference is considered acceptable for this combo?

Not that I'm complaining, as the difference between my Garmin G5 and analog altimeter was ~50 feet, but still.

I think mine differs by a similar amount. Just had the pitot static check done and the HDX altimeter checkout out all good. They did not comment on the D10A.

Note: Both of the products have altitude adjustments that lets you sync them with truth. See their respective installation manuals for details.

Actually looks like they haven’t connected static line when taking that photo. When I arrived in the shop today, both were in sync.
