I did a quick post install flight yesterday. It was pretty bumpy and gusty, so I wasen't too concerned about doing the flight portion of the cal proccess. Just wanted to see the AP work, which it did inspite of the ham handed installer. Q is, what is an acceptable level of servo slip. I was experiencing quite a bit of slip, mostly elev. up and down, but accasionally roll also. All were short duration +- 1 sec. It was bordering on mod turbulance.

P.S.- My hardware and install kit were top rate, and fit my RV-6A perfectly. Dynon products and service are the gold standard in the experimental industry. Thank you!

If the system is flying the airplane OK, than any amount of slip is OK. Slip doesn't do any harm to the servos or wear them out. But if you are getting a lot of slipping and the AP is hunting a lot, then crank the torque up a bit.
