I will be installing Skyview in my RV8 project and want to nail down a location for the ADAHRS. After reading many threads on the general subject of "magnetometer" locations I'm as unsure now as I was when I started. Mounting it on a bracket riveted to the aft side of the F808B bulkhead (aft wall of the baggage compartment) has become my Plan A. It's about as far away from potential EMI sources as I can get it. Right now, my major concern is environmental. It will be close to the turtledeck skin and exposed to lots of heat when sitting outside in the summer sun. Problem? Alleviate with insulation? Would like some feedback on this. I would also appreciate some advice on mounting the GPS Module. Like where? Haven't seen anything on this subject.

That location for the ADAHRS is the only one I use for all the RV's, never had an issue ;) GPS puck - anywhere outside the airframe (some have mounted it just under th cowl forward side of firewall) is ok as long as suitably distanced from transmitting antennas.
