ADHARS accelerometer fail

Have friend with new install of SV. Everything powers up OK for about 30 sec. Then ADHARS goes off line with an internal failure message, accelerometer fail. Does this unit need to be returned for repair or should we be looking for something else?

Is the ARHS actually properly mounted in a plane, or is it lying on a bench? If it's in the plane, is it right side up (label facing up).

If your friend's plane is a tail dragger, likely this issue will be fixed by updating firmware to v11.1, which we just released this week. There was a bug in v11.0 which affected tail dragger aircraft.

Well right on both counts. Never realized, when looking at it, he had the Adhars installed in the wing of Cub with the logo pointed down. Duh. Called and told him to install upright. But also a TD so will wait and see if first fix corrects the problem.
