ADHARS flashes failed momentarily

While flying yesterday I saw my primary SV-D1000 flash ADHARS fail with the X'd out display twice. Each time the event lasted for less than a second. My dual SV-D1000 has been installed and flying for about 3 years without exception. Looking at the alert data log I see several of the following between session time 5425 and 5434:
XPNDR ALT ENCODER, EMS FAIL, TRANSPONDER FAIL, XPNDR ALT ENCODER FAIL.

Is this a symptom of a problem with my installation?

It could be a few things. One possibility is that there was an electrical issue or glitch that caused SkyView to switch the ADAHRS it was using (if you have more than one). If the system thought that a display was offline momentarily, that can also cause it to reconfigure the way that the displays talk to each other. Behind the scenes, one of the two displays is acting as the "master" of the other. This is imperceptible in normal operation, but if the system believes that a display has disappeared, the other one will take over those duties automatically. For a moment as communication is reconfigured, you can see a momentary interruption, but you'd expect to see it affect any SkyView Network devices together (PFD, EMS, AP servos, etc).

Those other warnings may or may not be related. Did you get warnings about those from the system at around the same time as the PFD event happened while flying? Have you gotten any System Event messages? That can (but does not always) indicate a hardware problem with a display.

While this could be a hint that something might be wrong, it can also happen if there is a loose connection between components, or it could be a single transient occurrence that will be hard to trace to an actual failure. If it happens again, grab a Dynon Diagnostic File after the flight and follow up directly with our technical support team.

Thank you for your suggestions and observations. The alert data corresponds with the time that I observed the momentary ADHARS failures. After each flight I download the user data logs and then clear them. I did not see any system event messages.

I flew yesterday for 1.4 hours without incident. If the issue shows up again I will download the diagnostic log.
