ADHRS Install Questions

I want to mount the ADHRS on a shelf in the tail cone I intended for the magnometer for an EMS D-120  installation.  It slopes 5 degrees forward to be perpendicular to the panel.  Will mounting the ADHRS with a 5 degree slope work or should I recofigure the shelf to be level with the center line of the fusalage?

Also, I have the temperature probe for  the EMS D-120 installed.  Can I use it with the Skyview ADHRS?

The 5 degree slope won't work. An ADAHRS module needs to be mounted within one degree of parallel and perpendicular to the
centerline of the aircraft with the pneumatic fittings facing toward the front of the aircraft, as indicated in the manual.

You can use your OAT, but you'll need to put the SkyView ADAHRS connector on it. (Details - http://wiki.dynonavionics.com/SkyView_FAQ#I.27m_building_my_own_SkyView_harnesses_from_scratch._What_do_you_recommend_for_the_connectors_that_I.27ll_need.2C_like_for_the_battery_and_OAT.3F)

How close to the ADHRS can the transponder be installed????

Because of the wide variety (amazingly so!) of aircraft our products end up installed in, we don't specify a minimum separation distance for the transponder. But, keep in mind that transponders ARE a radio transmitter, and relatively high power at that.

Our transponders are new products, so as customers install them and if they discover issues with putting it "too close to something", we look forward to hearing their experiences.
