ADS-B Status (Not Configured)?

Went up flying the other day in my trusty RV-12 E-LSA (SV) and discovered that my ADS-B was not working.  When I checked through the SETUP menu, I found: ADS-B Status (Not Configured).  Everything has been working peachy for the past 12 months (140 hours) and now no ADS-B.  No weather info displayed on airport info pages. TIS seems to be working?  My "N" number and Hex code haven't been touched and are still shown on the Aircraft Information page.  Any suggestions as to how to get my ADS-B working again?  Thanks!  --  David

ps -- I recently used Van's Aircraft's in-house program to update my RV-12's SV values. Could this have "unconfigured" my ADS-B?

It could have. When you say "in-house program", what do you mean? The very first thing to check is whether the update process you went through somehow unconfigured the serial port that your ADS-B module is connected to. Serial port 2 in SETUP MENU > SYSTEM SETUP > SERIAL PORTS is the one that should be configured to the SV-ADSB-470. There is also a configuration file in the package that Vans has on their downloads page that will configure that port for you. To use it, go to https://www.vansaircraft.com/public/downloads.htm, grab the zip file, unzip its contents to the root of a USB memory stick, and then load the file named "12-ADS-B-PRE-SETS_04-03-14.dfg" to your display.

Sure enough, somehow my Serial Port 2 was set on nothing. I didn't touch it so maybe it was Van's download?? I set Serial Port 2 to the ADS-B and all is once again working fine. As always, thank you mysterious Dynon person for the support! :-*
