Is there a way to get ADS-B Traffic to display on top of Approach plates? If not, would you guys consider adding this functionality as a selectable option?

If you have the ADSB IN module and a WIFI dongle just connect a tablet to the SkyView WIFI, run FltPlanGo, overlay the approach plate on the sectional and you get this exact capability. You get a pseudo additional screen and the charts/plates are subscription free. That is how I do it in my airplane.

Yes, I have Dynon ADS-B In, the wifi dongle, and a tablet with iFlyGPS on it, and I can do that.

But I am in Rutan Long EZ which has very little room in cockpit, and even my 8 inch tablet blocks out part of my panel, no matter how I mount it, so I was hoping to be able to see the ADS-B traffic overlaid on top of the approach plate on the HDX screen.

I mean the data is already in there, and the traffic shows on the map, and on the sectional, and the ownship icon is overlaid on the approach plate, so I am thinking it should not be a major undertaking to get ADS-B traffic to also display there.

I agree...this would be a very nice addition.

And don't you love the "answers" you get on internet forums? :)
