I have updated the trig (dynon) transponder to the new firmware in antisipation of making it 2020 out complaint. However, at this time I do not have the RS-232 connection complete so the position sorce is still from the Skyview. Am I still able to "wake up" the ground stations prior to making the direct gps connection? Based on the documentations I think I am I just need confirmation.
