Under the new Advanced system, will the EFIS be separate from the Engine montoring as it is now? or will either size EFIS be able to display flight data as well as engine data with the proper button push, under the display of the Advanced system?
Thanks,
Ken

The new system is a bit different. The screens are just screens. Until you connect something to them, they don't do anything.

To get them to really do much, you need to connect a AHRS module, an EMS module, or a GPS receiver to the system. Once that data is available, any screen in the system can display anything. Every screen, 7" or 10" will be able to display EFIS, EMS, and mapping, in any combination the pilot chooses.

And just as a note, we do sell the D180 today which is a EFIS and EMS in one 7" box.

So in that vein, if I want one large EFIS on the pilots side and one of the smaller one's on the Copilot's side and I want them to both provide the services of PFD ( ahars ) and maps and GPS, WAAS, ect, and the smaller one( that is on the right of the panel ) to be an engine monitor also, I need two AHARS and Two map generators, two GPS's, and one Eng monitor module ...? Maybe not well put, but I hope you get what I am asking?
Thanks,
Ken

Nope. Once you have one EMS module in the system everything can display EMS. Once you have one AHRS, everybody can display attitude. You may want to buy two AHRS units for redundancy, but you don't have to.
