Hello fellow Dynon users,

is it possible to display AGL on the Skyview display? And if so, how?

Thanks
Felix

Not currently. I asked for this as an enhancement a few months ago - Garmin's G3X can do it, but only to 100 ft. resolution. It would be really nice to have it to 10 ft. increments - no reason it can't be done, as the terrain database is in there...

I also have asked for this feature. This is needed for me to stay within class G airspace clear of clouds at times. Like N144sh posted, one can select a point on the map page, (easiest with touch) to confirm AGL. However, this is a very inconvenient and archaic method to achieve goal. Al
Even the simplest MGL EFIS has this feature.

Just curious, what AGL point does one desire? Right under the airplane? Some point on the current track? Something else? Fixed or definable?

Height AGL under the airplane combined with a glide ring that takes terrain and wind into account would work for me as a start. Similar to what ForeFlight currently does:

The current SkyView capability, as pointed out in Post #3, is something I already use.

But I'd be happier if the bugs in software v16.3.2 were fixed first!

For me, the current aircraft AGL number would be good enough.

Nice to know at a glance if I'm at least 1,000' over some houses, or if the terrain is slowly sloping upwards and my intended 2,500' AGL is now something less.
