Airspeed limit of 325 kts

I have two D-100s on prop planes, and they work great. But I also have a Fouga Magister (Exp Jet), and I would like to put a D-100 in it also (my panel won't allow anything larger). My concern is that the airspeed limit on the unit is 325 kts, and my Vne is 400 kts. What happens to the unit if I exceed the upper limit? I presume that, since it is digital, and not mechanical, I will just stop there without any damage? I am right?

It actually reads up to just shy of 500 knots. The published spec said 325 knots because of the way the sensors are calibrated. However, it's the very low end of the pressure sensors that actually need the calibration (where tiny pressures, hundreds of a PSI, equal knots near zero). At the high end, you actually don't need to calibrate in the same way. So the D100 is very usable throughout its entire display range, which I believe is 498 knots.
