Alaska Map Coverage

Just received my Skyview components yesterday. It's like Christmas! I was reading the manual and it says only parts of Alaska are mapped. Since I live in Alaska I'd like to know which "parts" are mapped. Can a Dynon moderator help me with this? Thanks.

That looks like a bug in our manual from the fact that in part of our design cycle we thought that would be true.

If you go to the terrain downloads page and choose canada-alaska you'll see that we do cover it all. (you also need to download and install this since north america is the shipped default)

In re-looking at the install guide, it isn't a bug. It says the pre-installed map only covers part of Alaska (which is true and is the southern 1/3 of Alaska). You can go to the downloads page and see the exact covered area, or you can download the Alaska-Canada region which covers all of Alaska.
