Altimeter

My altimeter setting will not stay were I dial it in. For instance, today I dialed it in at 29.91 and it started climbing and stopped at 30.50. I reset the altimeter and it moved up again, and I reset it again and it moved again. It stops at different settings, sometimes at 29.92 or whatever number it decides it likes.
I stayed in the pattern doing touch and goes as I was told by Mike at Dynon that the units sometimes need time to warm up. I gave it plenty of time but it would not stay where I would set it.
I don't think it is in the static (pitot) system as my airspeed indicator seems to be working just fine.
Any suggestions?

Are you saying the number on the screen is changing, or are you saying that you are adjusting it to field altitude before you take off and you need to keep changing the number in order to make it match the field elevation?
