I've installed the Dynon ammeter shunt in position A in the manual. When I connected up the high and low amps leads to the shunt all sensors that use a 5v excitation - manifold pressure and fuel pressure - suddenly started giving wayward readings. When I disconnected the wires to the shunts everything returned to normal. Anybody got any ideas? The rest of the 180 is working according to plan.

If one of the amps shunt wires went to the wrong pin, you would see this behavior. The shunt wires are supposed to be pins 24/25, but 12V on pins 23,26, 4,7, or 8 would all cause this. Are MAP and Oil Temp OK when the amps is disconnected? If not, those pins are OK and that reduces the possibilities.
