Amps Shunt AC or DC ???

Hi,

I would like to now if I can connect my Skyview Amps Shunt in the DC output of my regulator, or if I can connect in the AC output of my stator.

The Amps shunt can only only measure the DC current that actually flows through it (and it needs to be on the positive side of the electrical system). The shunt needs to see DC output, so it won't work on the AC stator.
