Android device for database updating

Has anyone has any success in doing this? I have downloaded the map files to my phone (GS4) but skyview does not see the files no matter what USB mode the phone is in (yes, plugged into the skyview with a cable). Tried moving files around a bit, no luck.  Would be a really convenient way to update; if anyone has a tip, please let us know!

This will only work if your phone supports USB mass storage mode. Unfortunately, many of the newer phones do not.

If your phone does, you have to put the files in the root directory of wherever the USB mass storage ends up pointing (often SDCARD)
